| State of the art flux vector drives providing stable load holding at all hoisting speeds. Dynamix braking and controlled acceleration provide smooth load handling with a minimum of wear to the hoist mechanism horris incorporate enhanced safet features by externally monitoring speed and direction signals separately and linking them with the hoists mechanical braking system. |

Hoist Motors
Parallel solid rotor, high torque squirrel cage mortors designed specifically for hoisting applications, allowing 40% ED, and 240 starts per hour as standard. With 60% Ed, 300 starts per hour available. Class F insulation is standard. Higher insulation classes are achievable for specific applications. Single or dual speed available from one motor; with 4:1 or 8:1 creep speeds. Voltages to suit the sorlds supplies.

Hoist brake
Single disc, fail-safe electromechanical brake, energised separately from the motor , with direct current to ensure a positice action. Fitted directly onto the hoist gearbox input shaft, the brake provides greater safety than traditional motor mounted brakes. Factory set torque needs no adjustment. Required minimal maintenance but is positioned for easy monitoring. the brake is equipped with a precise hand release to allow the lowering off of loads in power loss situations.

Mechanical Overload
An essential safety device that protects the hpoist and structure against domaging overloads, with in built dynamix filter to prevent nuisance tripping a requirement under the Machinery Directive for all hoists over 999kg.

Gearbox
Comprises a fully enclosed oil-mmersed, triple reduction gear train with Plasma Nitrided teeth for maximum wear resistance and strength. All high speed gears are helical form teeth. All shafts are supported on high quality rolling element bearings for quiet effcient operation and maximum left. Drive to the box is via a flexble coupling and hollow shaft drive.

Electronic Overload
A sensitive strain gauge and electronics that allow the accurate assessment of loads load weighing and slack rope detection. Can be fitted to two or more hoists to summate total load and prevent the overload of a structure.
Condition Monitoring
Allows the monitoring of hoist operations in terms of time spent raising and lowering the load and numbers of starts and stps. Other modules provide for sensing of load values and no load situations. Alarms detect maximum load. Interrogation with a PC or hand held unit provides management information on maintenance regimes or can establish the utilisation of the equipment.
